The Shatterfield Downloader creates files that can be accessed by MetaTrader and has selections for both 3.x and 4.x. The files are accessed through a custom indicator which is available for download here. We are currently finishing work on the 3.x indicator, and we will let everyone know when it's ready for download.

NOTE: For those of you that currently use version 3.x that would like to use COT data now, we suggest installing MetaTrader 4 (it can run side by side version 3), and use version 4 for your analysis, and 3 for making trades.

The data is saved in a Comma Separated Value (CSV) format.

(Note: Metatrader 3.x and MetaTrader 4.x settings are not compatible with each other. Set each individually.)

The data is available natively for all versions of MetaTrader (regardless of broker version). You may view explanations and instructions for both versions here.
